Today we’re talking about how to “make time.” We often find ourselves saying, “I wish I had more time.” But guess what? The problem isn’t a lack of time but rather how we prioritize it.
You see, the biggest roadblock between us and our dreams isn’t time; it’s the infamous ‘B.S.’ or ‘Belief System.’ This tricky little monster makes us believe that we can’t do certain things. But most times, “I can’t” is just a cover-up for “I don’t want to.” So, it’s high time we told our B.S. to take a hike!
Get rid of your BS
We are entirely responsible for our lives, our beliefs, our feelings, and our behaviors. We might not have control over other people’s actions, but we sure as heck can control how we react to them. It’s about taking ownership of our actions and understanding that our time is ours to manage.
Now, here’s a hard truth pill to swallow: Excuses are dream killers. Every time we repeat an excuse, it sinks deeper into our belief system, and before we know it, we start believing it to be an irrefutable fact. So, if we want our dreams to become reality, it’s time we ground our excuses.
Spend the next week as your personal time detective. Track your daily activities, every single one of them. How long are you spending scrolling through social media? How many hours are devoted to Netflix or aimlessly surfing the internet? This little experiment will help you see where your hours are really going.
Now, this is the turning point. Once you realize how much time you’ve been wasting on non-essential activities, it’s time to trim the fat. Prioritize! Decide what’s worth your time and what’s not. Remember, to make dreams come true; you need to create time for them. And that means reducing time spent on tasks that don’t contribute to your growth or get you closer to your dreams.
It’s about embracing responsibility, shooing away excuses, and prioritizing our dreams over time-wasting activities. It’s not about ‘finding’ time; it’s about ‘making’ time. At the end of the day, time is the raw material of creation. If we use it wisely, we can create anything – even the life we’ve always dreamed of.
So, are you ready to reshape your belief system, become a master of your time, and breathe life into your dreams? If yes, then it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get started! Remember to share your progress with me. I can’t wait to see how you transform your time to chase your dreams. Until next time, dream chasers! Keep the magic alive, and remember: Your time, your rules!
