If you want to become a coach, the Coaching Masters and the Centre of Excellence are great options. But which is the best to become a coach on a low budget? Which one offers you the most perks? This post will explore these two platforms in-depth and discover which is best for you.

The Coaching Masters

I’ll start with the Coaching Masters because it’s my favorite. Though I’m subscribed to both platforms, the Coaching Masters is the one that offers me more information. Let’s take a look at the fantastic perks that they offer!

Amazing App

It has a fantastic app that you can install on your smartphone and access Coachflix and many other perks in the app! You have resources and lots of videos. It’s a neat app without much fluff, which is fantastic. It’s very user-friendly and intuitive too.

Coatchflix

The Coaching Masters has the Coatchflix. What’s that? Imagine Netflix for Coaching. The Coaching Masters has many fantastic videos you can see whenever you want, called “Coachflix.” You have courses in video format that you can enjoy whenever.

Lots of amazing content

You get courses like neuro-linguistic programming, holistic Certification, coaching demos, online course creation, how to get clients, leveling up your business, the newbie coach, balance in business, resources, and more!

Incredible affiliate program

The Coaching Masters also has an incredible affiliate program. While you’re subscribed to the platform, all the subscriptions to Coachflix go to you if done through your link. You can also earn a percentage from offers that might do from time to time for courses not included in Coachflix.

Only $9.99/month

All that for around £8 per month! It’s affordable, and it’s full of helpful content!

The downfall

The only downfall is that getting the accreditation through the Coaching Masters is pricey. However, if you become an affiliate, you can later accumulate the money to invest in the Certification.

The Centre of Excellence

I’m also a member of the Centre of Excellence. It’s very different from the Coaching Masters since you need to purchase every course. So, for example, if you want to become a life coach, you must purchase the course.

The Certification is cheap

You can get certified cheaply, especially if you wait for offers. For around £30, you could get the course and the Certification. If you purchase the course you’re interested in at an average price, it hovers around £200.

There’s no Coachflix

Unfortunately, the Centre of Excellence doesn’t have a collection of resources as the Coaching Masters does. You need to be very clear on what you want; otherwise, it can get pricey quickly because you’ll buy far too many courses!

There’s no excellent affiliate program

The Centre of Excellence doesn’t have a fantastic affiliate program in the fashion the Coaching Masters do. Instead, they have a referral program where you can earn vouchers. It’s not the same, but it’s not bad if you want some perks. (You cannot create much extra cash, but it’s still good).

The teaching style is very different

While the Coaching Masters is basically based on videos, the Centre of Excellence is mostly writing. There’re some videos, but not as many. You cannot find many examples of sessions, and it lacks the same resources.

So, what’s the best option for you? 

It’ll depend on what you prefer and if you want to promote the platform while earning some cash. That said, I wouldn’t promote something I don’t believe in; just making some money isn’t the solution. As you can see, both platforms are very different and appeal to two different styles of learning and approaching coaching. So, at the end of the day, your preferences will also come attached to your learning style and personality.

My personal preference is the Coaching Masters because I find Coachflix amazing. Plus, I love watching the same videos because I learn more that way. However, if you prefer a bit more of the traditional way of doing things, then the Centre of Excellence would be the best option for you.
