Level Up Birthday. I Got The Queen!
So, yesterday I had a level up birthday, and I got her Majesty the Queen. It looks like Her Majesty, and I level up the same day. It was amazing to get her super pink Funko Pop figurine for my birthday. I also got a massive cake, Thor Ragnarok blue-ray, and many other presents that have been arriving in my mailbox during the whole week.
I’m still celebrating since Her Majesty’s Pop is decorating my working table now. But, I also got Kurose and Shirotani’s small figurines. (If you love Ten Count, then you know who I’m talking about.) I spent most of the day consuming a massive cake that Susanna made for me, with chocolate and berries. We also decided to get vegan sushi, and it was delicious!
Let’s go with small steps. The first thing that I got in my mail came from Japan. My friend Ai sent me Ten Count’s most wanted couple. Ha! I also got a coffee pendant and Japanese sweets. I’m glad to report that we’ve finished all of them and they were delicious. Although I do love tea, I have to admit that I’m not human until I get my first cup of coffee in the morning. Thus, getting such a pendant is just perfect.
About the sweets, you can see some cake-like ones. They’re called Momiji (red leaves), and they have red-bean paste in them. They’re my favorite ones. They are super tasty and addictive. If you happen to be in Japan, or if you see them somewhere, don’t hesitate. Just buy them and taste them! They go well with both coffee and tea.
As you can see, Kurose and Shirotani’s figurines and incredibly detailed. They’re really tiny, perfect for decorating your smartphone. However, the amount of detail on them is staggering. I plan to make some more pictures of them. They have the perfect size to be carried in a bag.
I got my presents into a box made with Legos. I first thought about opening it without destroying the work of art, but then I had to admit defeat and dismantle the box to get my hands on my presents. It was so much fun! I’ve never had my gifts “wrapped” in Lego before. It wasn’t as heavy as you might think though. And yes, the box included lots of Marvel and DC characters, and I’m still double thinking why Superman had the kryptonite as a hairdo instead of his hair…
We got lots of sushi, and we decided to go for the vegan sushi. Yup, we had lots of veggies. It was delicious! And I ended up with a massive food coma. They might not look like much, but they made my stomach happy full. If to these you add the massive cake, plus all the Japanese sweets, I can assure you that you are unable to put anything into your body after that. So, no, I didn’t manage to have any dinner. It was already too much. As I said: I ended up with food coma.
While we were in our quest of filling our bellies until exhaustion, the postman came with an extra present. I’ve had blind dates with books before, but this one is my kind of crazy. It just arrived on the day to bring me a huge smile. This was a great surprise!
As I said, some presents arrived before the level up day, like this beautiful ACOMAF book sleeve. It’s super cute, but instead of using it for books, I’m going to use it for my iPad mini. And it seems that one of the presents is still traveling so I might get it soon.
All in all, I had a brilliant level up party. We were celebrating during the whole day: had tons of presents, a massive food coma, played games, and watched Thor Ragnarok including the extras. What else can I say apart from thanking you to all who graced me with their time and presents? Just love you guys!
