ACOFAS Teaser, A Court Of Frost And Starlight
A Court of Frost and Starlight [The Book Depository] [Waterstones], ACOFAS, teaser is here to haunt our dreams until May arrives. Sarah J. Maas is going to deliver an excellent novella for a spinoff that I hope will target Lucien. In the meantime, we have to read the quotes and guess who is saying them. Although I’m already dreading the day I won’t have new adventures of Rhysand to enjoy, re-reading the books is something I can do forever.
The quotes hint to what might happen in the new book. However, I’m still unsure what surprises it might have. So, for the time being, before we can panic, let’s enjoy these teaser quotes.
ACOWAR had a lot of politics and deaths. This time, more than war, I think that diplomacy and trickery are what’s needed the most. That’s why probably Feyre ends up saying that we’ve had enough killing. Although I think it might be her saying these words, it could also be someone else.
It could be Rhysand or Cassian who says this. Rhys trying to be kind to everyone, or Cassian scolding Nesta. As you know, Nesta isn’t exactly a sweet woman. So, it could be that even if she wants to hide away, she’ll need to go to the celebrations and be a fairy. Even if she doesn’t like the prospect, she needs to accept that she’s fae now.
Again, I think this is Feyre talking. With all the drama in ACOWAR, it’s doubtful that everyone is just happily living ever after. Traumas are there, and they’ll pop up soon enough. I don’t think it’ll be pretty, but it’s good that a book explores trauma in fantasy. We’re too used to having happy ever afters as if life is perfect and you can have it all once you banish all evil.
This could be Nesta and Feyre talking? I’m not sure, but Feyre needs to create art, and have a shot for normalcy. I do feel that creating is the only thing that saves me from damnation when I feel super low. Feyre is an artist, so she chooses the brush. I prefer writing, so I choose the blog or my stories (that I keep to myself and I enjoy and collect).
If the quotes aren’t enough for you, take a look at the synopsis and start fangirling because the book promises a lot of fun, crying, and a great spinoff.
A Court of Frost and Starlight [The Book Depository] [Waterstones] is around the corner, and I cannot wait for it. I expect to find more great quotes in the book and enjoy every single page. But, for the time being, I’ll have to settle for the banner, cover artwork, and teaser quotes.
Are you waiting for ACOFAS? If so, who do you think said these quotes?
