A Court of Frost and Starlight. ACOFAS cover revealed!
It’s here! Bloomsbury has revealed the new cover of A Court of Frost and Starlight [The Book Depository] [Waterstones], aka ACOFAS. As an addicted fan to the ACOTAR series, I cannot wait to read this new novel, before the spinoff hits the shelves. The cover is astonishing. Since I’m located in the UK, I’m happy with the UK version of it. I love both, but I find the UK version more stylish. Besides, it has my favorite quote of the series on it!
The story takes place several months after the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin. This time, both Feyre and Rhysand are the narrators. The couple and friends are rebuilding the Night Court. What happened in ACOWAR has changed Prythian forever. However, the Winter Solstice is around the corner and something might happen. Shadows are looming. How will they manage them?

The dress that Feyre is wearing on the cover is the one that Charlie Bowater drew in her fan art. It’s the Starfall gown that’s descrived in the books. Bowater has also helped in the making of the cover, not only with the inspiration of the night gown. She created the filigree style border patterns that embelish the cover. The result is just astonishing. In short, the cover is perfect.
I guess that I’ll be buying both the hardcover and the softcover again. I have the full series in both formats. The reason is simple: I’ll smash the covers sooner or later. I hate to walk around with hardcovers. So, I buy softcovers to walk around outside the house. They make perfect companions when I go to coffee shops to relax. However, they’ll get smashed in no time. That’s what happened with my old edition of the Princess Bride. Hence, I’ll buy both and make sure that at least one of the books will be safe and pretty.
The cover is a masterpiece. Now, while we wait for the book to arrive home, let’s binge-read the series again! We still have time! If you haven’t read this series yet, please be my guest and read the reviews below.
- A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR)
- A Court of Mist and Fury (ACOMAF)
- A Court of Wings and Ruin (ACOWAR)
I just hope that we’ll also find some clues about the spinoff in this book. For some reason I’d love to see what happens with Lucien Vanserra. He’s a great character, and I’d like to see him in some adventures. What happened in the continent, or how he can grow up to be something more than just a diplomat. He has so much potential being the son of two Courts!
Don’t miss this book for the world. Pre-order A Court of Frost and Starlight [The Book Depository] [Waterstones] and dream of Rhysand.
