New Comics and Halloween: Spooktacular!

Comics Thorsday comes back with new comics and Halloween. It’s going to be “spooktacular!” Since I started to reread manga, I decided to add them to the list.

Halloween begins with Archie Halloween Special. It features some of Archie’s most frighteningly fun stories. If you’re an Archie fan, or if you’re following the show on Netflix, I’m sure you’re going to enjoy the Halloween special. There are ghosts, and pumpkins, and lots of orange mayhem!

The second in our list is Ladycastle. When a dragon decides to eat all the men in Mancastle, women take over. They need to organize themselves soon and efficiently since monsters can attack the castle again. So, the blacksmith’s wife, Merinor, becomes the “King.” Princess Aeve becomes the Captain, and the only capable remaining knight, Sir Riddick, ends up with the task of teaching all the ladies how to warrior. This is an excellent story plenty of suspense, fantastic artwork, and possibilities.

Adventure Time SPOookTACULAR 2017 is another option during Halloween. This is a collection of new short stories starring our favorite Peppermint Butler doing magick and trying to save a masquerade from Marshall’s tricks. Will he succeed? Or, will he make things worse?

The first manga on the list is Princess Jellyfish. What if fangirls were taking on Tokyo? This manga is all about a fangirl taking on the world in a very particular way. Tsukimi Kurashita is obsessed with jellyfish. She loves them to the core. Now she’s living in Tokyo in the perfect neighborhood, where geeks like her have nothing to fear and do whatever they want. However, she ends up meeting her antithesis: a fashionista! She’s beautiful, wears trendy clothes, and is putting Tsukimi’s world upside-down. What will come out from all of this? Will the fashionista become her inspiration to create something new? Or will fashion destroy her geek side?

Love can be spooky. In Black Panther and Sweet 16, we follow the love story of a 16-year-old girl called Taiga. She finds a boy who has passed from starvation and ends up giving a drink to her. However, he ends up stealing a kiss from her with a lame excuse. When she starts forgetting the issue, he reappears! The new term begins, and he’s there to haunt her. His name is Anri Iseya, and he wants to be her pet. How will this romance develop? Will he end up being her pet?

And finally, let’s meet Frau Faust. Everybody knows Faust; however, no one knows the truth. Faust is a charismatic woman called Johanna Faust who happens to be alive. She’s looking for her demon, and when she visits a village, she saves a young boy named Marion. In exchange, she asks him a favor. Soon, he finds that Doctor Faust is very intriguing. He joins in her quest, and thus, adventures begin.
