Thor: Ragnarok new Trailer gets deep into the new 80s style!
This weekend we’ve seen the new trailer for Thor: Ragnarok. It couldn’t be deeper into the new 80s style that getting more popular among media. If you loved Stranger Things and enjoyed Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor: Ragnarok promises a great ride. Not only the movie is matching styles with the Guardians, but it’s also getting in the revival of the 80s that we can see in many other shows and movies.
The color palette is great. So much so, that one of my plans is to get a pair of posters to make my wall perfect. Yes: Guardians and Thor are going to be rocking my wall. Why? Because the color palette is similar! (And also because I’m sure I’ll love the new movie as well.)
If you’re a fan of retro games, I’m sure that you’ve noticed all the retro titles in the new teaser trailer. And also the music. Colors, titles, and music are triggering childhood memories while promising a great time when you hit the cinema. So, what’s up with all the retro tendencies coming back?
It might be true that we’re nostalgic, but reality might be less intriguing. All kids who enjoyed these games back then are working adults with quite enough cash to spend it on Marvel movies, merchandise and whatever else they want. That includes pints and all the tees that have neon colors.
Our childhood days are back, but it’s also an opportunity for those who weren’t on Earth yet enjoying all the bad hair styles and terrible fashion choices of the time. Retro rocks. And this time, we can enjoy it at the fullest skipping all the terrible hair cats and nightmarish mustaches.
Plus: Thorki is back. I’m going to be mischievous and make you stare are where those guns are located. If that’s not subtext, I don’t know what it is!
So, #TeamAsgard has all the guns, all the sexy guys, and an incredible Hulk. And it seems that the green guy is in charge of defeating Fenrir. According to Norse Mythology, this is one of Loki’s kids. (And so is Hela, by the way.) Hulk isn’t the one to fight the massive, monstrous wolf, and Loki is supposed to be siding with Chaos to bring Ragnarok to Asgard. In short, he should be fighting along with his children.
But this is Marvel, and here anything can happen! So, what will he do? He’s the God of Mischief, so I’m sure he’ll end up making mischief sooner or later!
I can’t wait until the movie hits the big screen!

I think we can all agree, whatever Loki ends up doing, it’s going to be for his benefit in the end LOL
