Funko Pops, Books and… my Birthday!

Another Funko Friday with tons of Funko Pops, books and my birthday! Yes, today is my birthday, and I intend to have loads of fun. And I start by fangirling all about Guardians of the Galaxy vol.2. I can’t wait to hit the cinema and watch the movie! But, for the time being, I need to relax with the Pops and a magazine I bought.

But, there’s more! I also include some pics of the week that you can find on my Instagram. From here you can get some rad ideas for gifts. If you’re a nerdette like me, or if you have geeky friends, I’m sure you can find something that will suit you.

We start with Star Lord! This is one Pop I do love about him. Sorry, but the masked version doesn’t make it for me. I matched him with the amazing magazine that you can see on the picture. The cover is too good as to be missed. I usually don’t buy magazines, but I had to get this one for obvious reasons.

We keep up with Groot! He’s so cute! And yes, I paired him with one page from the magazine I got. He’s the perfect dancing buddy! I’m sure Groot will be awesome in this movie! (Groot is one of the sweetest Marvel characters ever!)

I got Replica [The Book Depository] in one of the subscription boxes I get. I think Replica is the perfect match for the different versions of Spider-Gwen that I have. Yes, I’m weak! I have all the Spider-Gwens out there! I wanted to do the same with Gwenpool, but I’m waiting for that because I also want a Rock Candy Gamora… Dude, I want too many things!

I love the cover of Replica. Seriously: it’s super cute, and the colors are just amazing. I love neon colors, flashy but fresh. (No wonder I’m so hooked on Guardians of the Galaxy!)

And from Marvel, we pay a visit to DC. I paired Harley Quinn with Suicide Squad [The Book Depository]. Yup, that’s a book. I usually don’t read books based on movies, unless I have a good reason. Or if it’s a present from someone. The colors here are also amazing!

And finally, we got to see the Evil Queen! I love this Pop version of her because it looks like when she vanishes. There’s this purple smoke that makes her pop in and out from places. So, I matched her with a book with a super cool cover: Moondust [The Book Depository]. Yes, the match here is because of the colors, not because of the topic.

And finally, this is me with the Guardians of the Galaxy! I’d love this to be real. But I’ll have to be happy with the pic instead. Look at those colors! I love the palette!
