Female superheroes can be found in the stars! Surfing the web, I found Star Power, a star webcomic that will enchant you from the moment you start reading it! Sometimes I surf the web in search of new stuff. I was delighted to find this great webcomic with a cool superhero that is sweet, intriguing and amazing. It’s been ongoing since 2013, and not only the art is fantastic, the story is compelling too. And since I enjoyed so much, I decided to become a Patron so that it keeps going on. Star Power has a broad range of aliens, mystery, and suspense. Our hero is a scientist who gets attached to machines and names everything, including a star no one notices. And then something amazing happens: the star shines, and she becomes a Superhero: a Star Powered Sentinel. [I’m trying to give you few spoilers so that you read the web comic.]

Danica Maris is the lab assistant of Dr. Brightman. She is an astronomer of the badass Space Station Sanctuary Six where there is an enormous range of aliens from different species. Each race has a different background. I like that all main characters have good stories, and I love that the authors have put together an incredible universe including extra pages with explanations about the aliens. I must warn you, though; the villain alien is quite a weird alien lady with serious issues of grandiosity. Countess Nurak-Nor is both fascinating and incredibly disgusting. She is sneaky, and I think that she only lives because she wants revenge for the entire Universe.

I like that they’re creating something independent, without limits and incredibly complete. True, it has its issues, but it’s excellent so far. And since the audience supports the comic, it feels like a community is being created by Star Power. I highly recommend you to give this Superhero webcomic a shot. The art is splendid and the story is interesting. Characters are well done, and the sci-fi environment is also very alluring.
