Comic Books to add to your reading wish list Vol.1
I decided to add a new section for THORsdays. Since THORsday is the day for comics on my blog, I decided to create a reading wish list with some cool recommendations for you from time to time. And since Xmas is around the corner, perhaps you find a comic that might be a great idea as a present for someone you hold dear, or maybe to yourself. If you’ve been reading Comics THORsday lately, you already know what I will recommend first. Yes, Loki Agent of Asgard! [I know, it’s madness! But what am I to do if I love the character to the bone?]
1. Loki Agent of Asgard, Trust Me.
Yup, trust me! Loki Agent of Asgard is a great comic to read. So, if you haven’t started yet, this is your opportunity! You will find mischief in great quantities, love, adventure and family issues. If you like this first volume, know that there are other three for your delight. Let Loki enchant you with his smile, his mischief and his naked shower scenes! And yes: he is a sexy geek.
2. Ms. Marvel, No Normal.
Ms. Marvel is a masterpiece! This is one of the best comics I’ve read. Kamala Khan is a normal teenager, with a normal life till she becomes a superhero! But there’s a catch: you can find out about geek anthropology like never before with this comic book. It’s a real jewel of the crown! Don’t miss it!
3. Captain Marvel, Higher, Further, Faster, More.
Captain Marvel is simply badass. Kelly Sue DeConnick has written a great comic, again. [I do recommend all the comics she has written to be honest, but let’s just keep up with this one for the time being.] If you read Ms. Marvel you’ll realize that Kamala loves Captain Marvel. It’s fun! [And nope, this are not the same character!]
4. Spider-Gwen, Most Wanted.
Spider-Gwen is, without any doubts, the most wanted comic book out there. She is a very fashionable character easy to relate to. Beware though: you’ll want her clothes badly! Fortunately you can find her hoodie and jacket out there. Yes! I love when comics influence fashion for real.
5. Superior Iron Man: Infamous.
Superior Iron Man is the last choice of today. No surprise here either. Why do I recommend this one? This is perfect to discover how marketing affects people, specially young people who have lots of insecurities. This is a great criticism on nowadays society. Only that it has more flashy and interesting gadgets. Plus, evil Iron Man is cool.

Notes:
- Yes, these are all Marvel Comics. I read mostly Marvel, but I also read other comics too. I will introduce you to my favorites in other posts. Don’t worry, it’s not always going to be Superheroes (but I must confess that I love them a lot.)

I’d add Hawkeye to the list as well since the complete collection by Fraction/Aja is now out!
yay! I have to read that one yet 😉 It’s in my wish list :p As soon as I’ll read it I’ll add it to the list 🙂 I thought that making lists of a max of five comics per post would be nice 🙂
I just got the first volume of Captain Marvel and I can’t wait to start reading! I definitely want to check out Loki Agent of Asgard too. Loki’s a pretty hard character not to love!
You’ll love Captain Marvel! I’m a huge fan!! 🙂 Loki AoA is the best of Lokis 😉 There are many incarnations of Loki, and so far, the ones that I love are Kid Loki and Loki AoA 😉 The old one…. well… the old one is quite of challenging… :p
