Harry Potter Book Tag!

I’ve been tagged by Her Geekery to do this Harry Potter Book Tag! Though I don’t consider myself a great Potterite, I do enjoy the fandom a lot. Let’s have some fun with Harry Potter now, shall we?

GENERAL

Favorite book? I must go with the Chamber of Secrets. It made me feel like reading a magical Sherlock Holmes story. Seriously. It was fun and really entertaining. So, yup, the Chamber of Secrets it is!

Least favorite book? Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, simply because is the last one, and then you have no more Harry Potter.

Favorite movie? Hmmm, hard to say… I take them as a pack. But I like the newest more.

Least favorite movie? Again for the same reasons, hard to say since I consider them a whole. Maybe the ones at the beginning. Sorry, I liked the movies, so, it’s hard for me to say which was the less favorite one.

Favorite quote? Wisdom words from Sirius Black:

Favorite Weasley? I have to go with Ron. He’s funny!

Favorite female character? Hermione. She’s intelligent, badass and independent.

Favorite villain? Does Snape count as a villain? Sweet dark Snape it is.

Favorite male character? Again, Snape. You have to love Snape!

Favorite professor? Sybill Trelawney. I loved her glasses. I know, I know… xDDDD

WOULD YOU RATHER?

A. Wash Snape’s hair or B. Spend a day listening to Lockhart rant about himself. I go with Snape’s hair! Love the character, so how can’t I love his hair?

Duel A. An elated Bellatrix, or B. An angry Molly? Bellatrix. She is strong and a badass lady, so I’d rather have a duel with Bellatrix.

Travel to Hogwarts via A. Hogwarts Express or B. Flying car? I’d try the flying car. I find it like an adventure to have. Weird one, but a must.

A. Kiss Voldemort or B. Give Umbridge a bubble bat? Yikes… none!!!

A. Ride a Hippogriff or B. Ride a Firebolt? Hmmm, a Firebolt? I guess I’d go with a Firebolt.

BOOK TO MOVIE ADAPTATION

Is there a character that you felt different about in the movies vs. books? Everyone and everything overall. Books are books, and the movies, just movies. Sorry, but if you read the books first, you’re going to be a little bit disappointed with the movies. Or otherwise, if you prefer the movies to the books.

Is there a movie you preferred instead of the book? The books win for me. Sorry!

Richard Harris or Michael Gambon as Dumbledore? Both, both, both are good.

Your top thing (person or event) which wasn’t included in the movie that annoyed you most? That some tiny details that I considered paramount on the book aren’t in the movies. So, not just one thing.

If you could remake any of the Potter movies, which would it be? Well, none. We have the books and we have the movies. We could enjoy them for what they are, and cherish also the differences. So, no remakes, unless:

HOGWARTS

Which house was your first gut feeling you’d be a part of? Slytherin. Because of Loki reasons.

Which house were you actually sorted into on Pottermore (or another sorting quiz)? I cannot escape fate: Slytherin.

Which class would be your favorite? Hard to say, but… Potions! I’d love all of them, but, especially Snape’s. Am I thinking about the class now?

Which spell do you think would be most useful to learn? Episkey, to cure people. I know, it’s just for minor injuries, but this would come in handy.

Which character do you think at Hogwarts you’d instantly become best friends with? Hermione xDDDD. Please, don’t kill me.

MISCELLANEOUS

If you could own one of the three Hallows, which would it be? The invisibility cloak. I need it!

Is there any aspect of the books you’d want to change? This can be a character, event, anything. None. I can dream about alternate endings, but, let them be as they are.

Favorite Marauder? Remus Lupin.

If you could bring one character back to life, which would it be? Snape!

Hallows or horcruxes? Hallows!
