This fandom Friday is mischievous and I love it! There are tons of guilty pleasures in fandom, and just deciding to list 5 of them is a challenge. But, I must admit, it’s a sweet one.

1. Converting my friends into fans.

If I were a Borg I would say that ‘resistance is futile,’ but since I am human I’d just say that I am a mischievous fangirl who loves to convert her friends into fans of the fandoms I belong to, especially if they become members of Loki’s Army. Yes, that’s mischievous, I know. I just love it!

2. Researching, reading and writing about geek anthropology.

I love reading and investigating about geek anthropology. It is a guilty pleasure to discover more about fandoms from an anthropological and sociological point of view. I love it, though some times it really looks like a complicated potion.

3. Binge-watching my favorite shows/ movies.

One of my guilty pleasures is binge-watching my favorite shows and movies! Examples: Star Trek, BSG, LOTR + Hobbit, Marvel MCU, etc. I love it! I just can’t have enough of my favorite shows and movies!

4. Geek dancing à la Baby Groot!

OS are there to be enjoyed with a great deal of baby Groot dancing! If I love a movie, I need the soundtrack, because I need it for dancing! It frees me from stress while it keeps my geek levels high.

5. Collecting Funkos.

I love those little vinyl figurines! Funkos are so cute! I might not have a huge collection at the moment, and I might not have a huge one in the future, but I love collecting Funkos that are meaningful to me. In short: they’re too cute!

The idea of 5 Fandom Friday was started up by Super Space Chick, and I found it out at the Nerdy Girlie.
