So, it happened with J.K.Rowling’s Wizarding World Loot Crate unboxing! I made a video! It took me three days of wait until I could open my box and prepare myself to talk in front of a camera. This box came quite late since Loot Crate came up with some problems getting all the items. As I understood, we had to choose our House, and they would send us times from our House. However, items came mixed. To my delight, I got a tee from Slytherin. It seems that they’ll be sending a House-themed box next time. I hope they do since I was expecting that from this box.
When I was sorted in Pottermore, I got Ravenclaw. Then I tried again, and I got into Slytherin. So, I suppose I must be a mix of them: Raverin. Although I end up rooting for Slytherin, I have to confess that I do have Ravenclaw traits. Besides, I love Luna as well!
Welcome to another Nerdy Bookworm Box unboxing! This time we’re discovering all the goodies from the December box. Before spoiling all the contents, I must say that this is one of my favorite boxes ever. You never know what you’re going to get, but you’re sure you’re going to have a great book. It does feel like Xmas every single month! And this is one of the high points of this box. I simply adore it!
Yay! The Nerdy Bookworm Box November 2016 unboxing is here at last! Since I was visiting my parents, I couldn’t unbox this beautiful treasure. When I landed, the first thing I did was to open the box! I must say that this subscription box is one of the best out there. The jewel in the box is the book, of course. However, there are many other goodies that you’re going to love if you subscribe: a scented candle, geeky treats, and digital extras.
The book in the box was Moon Chosen by P.C. Cast, the first book of a fantasy series where animals accompany humans when darkness comes. The box also contains a Magizoology candle that celebrates J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Today I got my Doctor Strange Marvel Collector Corps box! The postman came with a big smile on his face because he knew I was going to be happy. (I’m always happy when I get boxes like this!) The unboxing was fantastic. Even if I saw some spoilers out there, I had no idea about all the goodness inside this box! First things first: the box itself is amazing with Doctor Strange designs all over.
When you open the box, you’re set up to find the usual pins: the eye of Agamotto and Doctor Strange himself! And then I opened the lid.
Today is a special day! It’s My Open Sketchbook Unboxing day! Time ago I asked a Captain Hook from OUAT to Kay Nyman, the wonderful artist behind the blog My Open Sketchbook. I met her online, and I started following her blog and her art. I love what she does, and I love her art journey. Because I was going to move home, I decided to ask for something to decorate my new working space.
I love many different characters: Loki, Hook, Lagertha, Ragnar… However, I wanted to hook people when they visit my tiny working realm. And so, I chose Hook (and when I can, I might add Swan to the pot). The commission was for a Killian Jones in his naughty glory. Kay asked some pics I love as a reference, and so I sent her some.
Before you keep reading, I must tell you something. She included an extra! What I asked was a colored smoldering pirate to swoon all over. What I got was that and more! I’m so thrilled because the extra surprise is no other than my favorite Hookadorkable pic!!!
Yay! I got geeky MOO cards and stickers with dePepi’s logo and the new icon I use on my social media. I usually order mini matte Moo cards, but this time, because of the colors, I went for shiny ones. They came super fast, and they’re super cute. As usual, the quality is superb. I also added some extra to the pot: MOO stickers. The booklet has 90 stickers. I should have enough to play decorating envelopes and cards when I send the prizes of my giveaways. However, I know that I’ll be playing with those and my new planner. So, I might run out quickly.
So, the big question is: why do I need mini cards if I’m not in Japan? Well, if you write a blog, these might come in handy when you’re networking or meeting new people. My blog address is easy, but I prefer to give something away that they might make people remember me. This might be one of those tiny customs I imported from Japan, but I feel it’s better to be in someone’s pocket. Even if they don’t check you out at that very moment, or even if they did follow your Twitter account, finding your card in their dirty jeans days later makes them remember you!
I should have shared my 2016 movie list months ago, but I didn’t find the free time. I decided to share the films from January onwards, and then go on with my list. Some movies were on my movie list, but I didn’t go to see them due to different reasons. However, I plan to watch them all!
This is one of the most entertaining Superhero movies I’ve seen. I love that it’s irreverent, colorful and the humor makes of it a blast. Deadpool was not only fun, but it was also one of those movies I pretend to watch again and again till I’m sick of it! Have you seen it? Did you like it?
I’m so happy I took part in Geek Girls x Bloggers Spring Fling Gift Exchange! Although there were some issues along the way, I had so much fun. First, because we did it through our favorite group on Facebook. All lady bloggers in the group are amazing, they write super interesting posts, and it’s wonderful to be friends with many of them. Second, because this Spring Fling Gift Exchange was hosted by From Girly to Nerdy. And third, because my surprise mate was Ashlee (Her Geekery)! If the combination of stars that made this happens isn’t magical, I don’t know what it is. But, I loved every single bit of it!
I’ll start with the little accident. I got a pair of super cute Loki earrings to die for. Unfortunately, Express your Fandom (a shop on Etsy), didn’t pack them well, and they came broken and bent. One of the horns on one of the Loki’s helmet was broken, and the hooks were super bent. Fortunately, the shop owners are super friendly, and they refunded the money to Ashlee. And, what do you think she did? (You gotta love the girl!)
Welcome to another Loot Crate Level Up Accessory Box unboxing! Today I’m unboxing the DEAD! I know, it sounds spooky but if you’re a fan of the Walking Dead and Deadpool you might like this one. Plus, this time, I have one of the goodies as a giveaway! How cool is that!? Please, remember that this post contains SPOILERS of the contents of the box. If you’re still waiting for yours, I highly recommend you to refrain from reading it (if you want to be surprised, that is). However, if you’re thinking about getting a Loot Crate subscription or you wish to see the contents of this month’s Level Up Accessory Box, I invite you to continue reading and take part in my giveaway! You’re going to love it! I’m sure of that!
And without much ado, let’s click on reading more to find all the goodness!
Another Past Crate from Loot Crate made it home some days ago. I got the Loot Cracte October Time, and it was a blast! As you know, Loot Crate has started a gift system that lets you pick up stuff from their previous boxes. Because I wanted the super cute Doctor Emmett Brown from Back to the Future, I got the box. [And, yes, it was only for that reason.] But the box was plenty with other super cool items! A Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure Tee, an excusive Back to the Future Part II Hoverboard replica, an exclusive Doctor Who spork utensil, and a Time button. Needles to say that my Vulcan got the tee and the Hoverboard replica. The kitchen got the Sonic Screwdriver Spork. [My kitchen utensils are getting geekier and geekier.] I’m happy Loot Crate decided to offer past crates, otherwise we would have missed all the goodness in this box!
