What I’m Watching: Sexy People, tons of Sexy People

What I’ve been watching are tons of hot people on the screen lately. Blame Netflix. Seriously. They got me hooked with new shows I had no clue about. You can also blame David Duchovny’s butt. I know, I’ve been talking a lot about butts these few days, but Californication has lots of butt showing on the screen. In short, I’ve been staring at tons of sexy people on my iPad thanks to Netflix.

1. Californication

I had no idea whatsoever about this show before Netflix put it on my menu. Plus, David Duchovny for me is connected with aliens, so I was like: what is this thing? Reading the title, I was sure I was set up to no good if I watched the show. So, I decided to give it a go. Because it’s Duchovny! No aliens in the show, but there’s a lot of sexy relationships, very dysfunctional ones, and incredibly whatever-nication. I didn’t expect it to be as irreverent as it is, but it’s worth it. I’ve never laughed so much at such decadent views. Give it a try, especially if you want to take a look at Duchovny’s butt and explore his damned, sassy and forever broken character.

2. The Vampire Diaries

Some posts ago I confess that I was only watching this show because of Damon. Well, I’m still watching the show, and arriving soon for the current season thanks to this vampire. Sorry, but I’m not sorry for saying that he is the best antihero the show has by far. He is sassy, complicated, broken, damaged, and yet a sweetpie. The other character that has bewitched me is Caroline. She was a horror during the first season, but as the season passed, and after she became a vampire, she has become a pleasant character to watch. Besides, she is blonde, and you know what happens with blondes and me. Too bad Damon isn’t with Caroline though I ‘m not sure how that could work.

3. Vikings

Lagertha has a strong pull on me, so I started to watch the show from the beginning little by little. I take it in pills, basically. The show has tons of scenes that I really don’t fancy at all, but as a whole is a good one. Lagertha is that character that pulls you in the story, and you want to know more about her. She is strong, feminine and amazing. A great Lady Viking.

So, what have you been watching lately?

I have been completely obsessed with The Vampire Diaries recently – I watched about 7 seasons in two weeks, then started on The Originals and am now up to date on both – finally. I can’t get enough. It’s always filled with interesting storylines, and I love all the characters – though I agree, Damon and Caroline are definitely the best, and Rick, though my personal favourite is Elijah *SWOON* I have literally been having dreams about his suit clad self..

    • Awwww Elijah is also cool! Atm my favs are Damon and Caroline 🙂 Rick is also cool though. Yes, I understand completely why you can obsess over the Vampire Diaries xDDDD I’m on season 6 :p But soon I’ll be on the 7th LOL

      YES! Elijah. *SPLOOSH*

      • :3 :3 :3 Though Klaus is kind of alluring too 😉

  • Mark Zeplin

I started watching the Guardians of the Galaxy animated series, which is watchable but not great and I’m working my way through every episode of Fringe, which I’m surprised I missed when it aired.

I couldn’t get into The Vampire Diaries, I liked Buffy and Angel back in the day and True Blood was bearable, but I’m not a fan of The Vampire Diaries interpretation of the vampire myth.

I am so with you on adoring Damon, both for hot factor and because he’s a great character. No spoilers, since I don’t know how far you are, but I love that he LOVES being a vampire. I mean, seriously, who wouldn’t?? He embraces his dark nature and I love it. And I agree, Caroline gets SO much more interesting as the seasons go on! I’m a season behind right now, so I need to catch up!

    • We’re on the same season then xDDDD (I think) OH YES! Damon is the best because he embraces his dark side and has loads of fun being a Vampire :p Love it! And Caroline has a great development as a character. I wonder what will happen next :p Ehehehe

I’ve been watching and rewatching The CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend because some people I respect recommended ignoring how terrible the name is and giving it a shot and I’ve been really glad I did. I might need to give Californication a shot simply for the setting. It’s been very cold and dark where I live.

    • Wow that title is a bad one xDDDD I have no idea of that show! Well, Californication makes me laugh a lot. Episodes are short, which is a good thing too. It’s the perfect show to watch while you’re having dinner or lunch 😉
