Welcome to the Harry Potter Book Night, a Night of Spells and Presents! This February 4th we’re going to have fun on Twitter and play some online games. Bloomsbury is organizing this mammoth event worldwide on February 4th, so I joined. This is the second year, and the topic is “a night of spells.” I applied to Bloomsbury to get a kit to be able to organize a wonderful Harry Potter Book Night. Although my first plan was to organize it in my new home, I decided to do it through Twitter (@dePepi) so that my friends in the US, Japan, Australia, Canada and other parts of EU can take part in it. So, what do you need to do to take part in dePepi’s Harry Potter Book Night and win this lot and maybe more goodies?
You need to be a Harry Potter fan. If you’ve read all the books, you’re good to go! Why? I’ll be posting questions about the books in Twitter. You earn points to every correct answer you give me. The one who gets more points will win the Harry Potter lot! So what’s in the lot?
- A Harry Potter Book Night poster from Bloomsbury.
- A Harry Potter Authentic Costume Card (Prisoner of Azkaban, Mattew Lewis).
- Harry Potter Book Night stickers (3 lines of stickers, not the whole sheet as shown in the picture) from Bloomsbury.
If many people take part in this event, then I will add a Harry Potter Funko Pop to the pot!
What do you need to do? Follow me on Twitter (@dePepi) and stay tunned from 5pm London time onwards. This is the time I will start posting the questions to my Twitter account! You will be able to follow up how the event goes on my FB page as well. But to take part in it, you have to use Twitter!
Please write your answers mentioning me, and using the following hashtags: #HarryPotterBookNight #HPBNdepepi
So, when you answer the tweet, it should look something like this:
Games will start at 5 pm (London time) on February 4, 2016; and finish at 9 pm (London time) the same day. You can start answering the questions through Twitter from 5pm (London time) till 9am in the morning the next day, so that everyone can have an opportunity. Then, on February 5, 2016, I will count all the points and choose a winner or winners depending on participation. If many people take part in this, I will add Harry Potter Funko Pops to it! The more people engage, the more pops I will add, with a maximum of 3 pops!
I hope you like the idea and that you’ll take part in the Harry Potter Book Night wherever you are! Let’s have a magical Night of Spells! Remember: use the hashtags: #HarryPotterBookNight and #HPBNdepepi
