Here we’re with the first comic books to add to your reading wish list of 2016! I hope that you’ll find a new comic book to read on this list. As always, I have chosen those titles that I feel will be more interesting or easier for people who are starting to read comics. So, feel free to explore the list and start your adventure right away!

1. Hawkeye: My Life as a Weapon.

Hawkeye: My Life as a Weapon (Marvel Now) Volume 1 is a thriller that will keep you reading without stop! If you like Hawkeye, you might like this comic book as well. You might find some surprises here, however you’re going to enjoy it if you like thrillers and end up without any breath left!

2. Daredevil: Man Without Fear.

daredevil, man without fear, marvel, marvel comics, comics, depepi,

Daredevil: Man without Fear will keep you busy while you’re waiting for the return of Daredevil on Netflix. Thrilling, amazing and with plenty of action. If you want to keep up with the Daredevil chills, this is your comic book!

3. Thor: Trials of Loki.

thor, loki, trials of loki, marvel, marvel comics, comics, depepi,

Thor: Trials of Loki isn’t a pretty comic book. It’s not really the art style that I like. However, it’s a good comic book. It’s based on Norse Mythology, and some myths do ring a huge bell. It’s a good way to test your knowledge on Norse Mythology while finding the differences. This is our friend the Old Loki. Perhaps, if you read this volume, you’ll understand him better.

4. The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl: Squirrel Power.

squirrel girl, marvel, marvel comics, comics, depepi,

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl: Squirrel Power Volume 1 is for laughing and relaxing. After too many thrillers up there and deep Norse Mythology, we need some laughs and a very funny Superhero. Beware though, she’s nuts!

5. Fearless Defenders: Doom Maidens.

Fearless Defenders: Doom Maidens (Marvel Now) Volume 1 is amazing! I bought this comic book online just because I loved the artwork on the cover. It could have been a bad choice, but then I was so happy I bought it. It’s fun, it has lots of female Superheroes, and there’s a geek who happens to be sassy and funny. Who can ask for more?

  • Yes, these are all Marvel Comics. I read mostly Marvel, but I also read other comics too. I will introduce you to my favorites in other posts. Don’t worry, it’s not always going to be Superheroes (but I must confess that I love them a lot.)
