Fandom Friday: 5 Favorite Halloween Episodes of TV Shows

fandom friday, fandom, geek anthropology, pop culture,

If found this Fandom Friday to be really fun. Please don’t judge me because some of the episodes I am about to list are old and cheesy, especially the first one on my list. But letting the cheesy aspect of some of the episodes apart, most of these episodes were really fun when I saw them for the first time. So, rejoice! Because some of the old ones are online! [Surprise, surprise from Youtube!]

1. The Night The Cylons Landed (Galactica, 1980)

Galactica was really cheesy. I saw it while being in Japan, so I saw it out of time. And, after it, then I watched Battle Star Galactica. But, if you want to have a good laugh during Halloween, “the night the Cylons Landed” is an episode to watch. A classic. You laugh a lot, but it’s great.

2. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester (Supernatural, 2008)

Supernatural has a great list of episodes to watch during Halloween. But there’s one, in particular, that’s better than the rest. Well, perhaps, and just for Halloween. I do recommend all of the episodes. Say hello to more excuses for binge-watching the show!

3. The Howling Man (The Twilight Zone, 1960)

I used to watch this show late at night. Classics!! I was a kid, and I wasn’t supposed to be up so late, but The Twilight Zone was amazing! So, I used to watch the episodes from my bed. Oh yes! And for Halloween, you got to watch the Howling Man! You need to watch this show. It’s good!

4. Halloween with the New Addams Family (The New Addams Family, 1977)

Here you go! The full episode of Halloween with the New Addams Family! I loved all about the Addams Familie. Of course, the movies are the best, and also the white and white version of it. But, this is one of my favorites. Enjoy!

5. The Boogieman (The Quantum Leap, 1990)

Another full episode for Halloween. I used to watch this as well. I was hooked on this show too. Though I must admit that I skipped many episodes. This one you have to enjoy it during Halloween.

I know, some of these are episodes from old shows. But they all remember me of either childhood times, Japan or heavy fangirling. Some are cheesy, and some are super fun! I hope that you enjoy if you decide to give them a try!
